KOREA DEC'15 : GWANGJANG MARKET, EHWA UNIV, HONGDAE, DONGDAEMUN

Day 4. Weather forecast showed that the average temperature will be around 7 degrees. And if you remembered, Day 3 had us sweating in our coats, so we wore a little thinner today. But I guess you all know what happened to us.. We were freezing our assess and fingers off the entire day.

First stop, Gwangjang Market.

This 이모, I don't know if she was trying to cheat us or she really didn't hear us. Or did we not tell her ? I remember we ordered one bibimbap. The portion given was huge and we were happily taking photos with the food so we didn't realise she was actually making us a second bowl. We were damn stunned when she gave us the second bowl. We told her we only ordered one and she gave us a really sad face, speaking in Korean which we figured was "how do I put these back now ?" something along that line. We didn't know what else to do other than taking the second bowl so yea, we were damn full by the time we are done with the first stall in Gwangjang Market.

Cheonggyecheon Stream.

It was a little cold so we stopped by Starbucks to have a little chocolate/coffee first.

Ehwa Women's University.

We were totally blown away by the surroundings of the campus !!
It was so huge and is probably one of the most beautiful schools I have seen.

The entire place felt like an old english town, somewhat like Hogwarts style. It didn't feel like I was in a school at all. If only schools in Singapore is like this haha. After visiting the school, we headed to the streets just outside the school where they were lined with lots of cafe, restaurants and shops. One thing I realized is that there are so many cafes in Seoul and every cafe is so nicely decorated !

Ehwa Andong Jjimdak (이화안동찜닭)
43 Ewhayeodae-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul
Ewha Station (Line 2), Exit 2

Thanks Nature Cafe (땡스 네이쳐 카페)
486 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
Hongik Univ Station (Line 2), Exit 9

Midnight shopping at Dongdaemun.

Look at the amount of clothes the people bought ! People just buy and then throw their shopping bags along the streets and then have the logistics company settle the transportation for them. It's like people don't steal people's shopping bags also. So amazing right ?
